Starting as a reader for the company in late 2016, Ben Rosen now manages a team of talented readers and oversees curation of the most compelling material from Storied’s diverse roster of publishers. He is also the primary point of contact for each publisher and is responsible for all material published to StoryScout.
Ben came from the world of talent management, working for several years with such clients as Alisha Boe ("13 Reasons Why"), Don Wildman ("Mysteries at the Museum"), and actress and hip hop legend MC Lyte, with whom he also developed several scripted and unscripted projects.
Ben began his entertainment career at Blockbuster, first in his hometown and eventually in Beverly Hills in 2011. He owes to a large degree his love for film and knowledge of film history to the bygone video rental giant. Ben graduated from Syracuse University’s Newhouse School with a degree in TV, Radio, and Film and minors in Writing and Psychology.
